Martin Snelgrove
Co-Founder / Chief Executive Officer / Board Member

The strategic direction of Kapik Integration is Martin's key focus. He brings to this work almost 25 years of executive level leadership to the company.

Before co-founding Kapik in 2008, Martin led a series of high-performance technical teams for a range of companies, having served as Chief Scientist at Philsar Electronics (acquired by Conexant Systems), Chief Technology Officer at Soma Networks and CEO of Dissonance Inc., a design consultancy.

For the first 16 years of his career, Martin was a professor and researcher at the University of Toronto and Carleton University in Ottawa; he also completed residencies at Bell Labs, Oulu University in Finland and the Instituto Nacional de Astrofisica, Optica y Electronica in Mexico.

Martin has an impressive track record in producing high-impact, commercially significant technologies. His pioneering work on bandpass delta-sigma converters and continuous-time delta-sigma loops has been incorporated in radars, digital receivers and RF power amplifiers. His advances in Hilbert-filter “complex analog” circuits led to the commercialization of self-trimming complex filter technology in receiver IF strips and RF power amplifiers. His work in adaptive analog filters for controlling high-performance analog signal paths resulted in high-volume.
